Imagine going on a speaking tour where each new city brings you bloodsucking critters that fall out of your clothing or audiences so unfriendly that they mob you onstage!

On Wednesday, June 22 at 11:30 AM, I will be chronicling these and other experiences from the travels of the intrepid Susan B. Anthony. This powerpoint presentation describes speaking tours that she identified as the Summer of Bedbugs and the Winter of Mobs. Come enjoy archival photos, illustrations, and stories of two remarkable seasons in the life of America’s greatest female reformer. You may be surprised at some of the conditions that she endured to get her message to the masses.
